Key words: Power System / Software Development/ Stability Analysis
General Context
The energy transition is driving rapid growth in renewable energy generation, increasing the complexity of grid dynamics and interactions. Ensuring the security and reliability of modern power systems therefore requires sophisticated analysis tools to understand the intricate mechanism and assess the risk of instability. This internship focuses on integrating an existing, validated stability-assessment algorithm into our advanced power system engineering and analysis platform. The intern’s role centers on software engineering challenges: designing clean interfaces, implementing data-exchange mechanisms, and ensuring robust integration with the current software architecture. Along the way, you will gain hands-on experience in modular integration, testing, and visualization, while collaborating closely with power system engineers and researchers in the renewable energy field. This is a unique opportunity to apply your software-engineering skills in a project to transform the cutting-edge research into a real-world engineering tool that directly contributes to the global energy transition.
